Electrical and Instrumentation Solutions
ESCOL offers Clients complete electrical and instrumentation lifecycle (E&I) solutions for onshore projects, from design to execution, service and maintenance.Customized maintenance and inspection programs reduce operational costs, maximize uptime and optimize efficiency. E&I services are often delivered using innovative access systems, including rope access and netting, providing a safer and more cost-effective alternative to traditional access methods.
We cover the complete instrument and control technical spectrum, from PLC/SCADA up to and including the field components and electrical low voltage distribution networks up to 30kV high voltage installations. Our E&I teams provide a range of support functions including drawing modifications, work pack production and material procurement. To meet specific project requirements and provide an integral solution, electrical services can be combined with other services such as:

Substation CommissioningESCOL is routinely involved in commissioning installations. In this service we test a system or facility to verify that it functions in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines and the designer’s intent. The commissioning agent should be involved in the whole project, from pre-design phase (understanding the objective and purpose of the project is critical) through the design, construction and operation phases.
The more complex and critical the electrical system is, the more important the electrical commissioning becomes. Two typical types of commissioning projects are building commissioning and substation commissioning. Commissioning is an important part of developing an ongoing preventive maintenance program. It gives you the confidence to know that your equipment will function safely in the intended manner, and commissioning helps to avoid downtime due to malfunctioning equipment. The tests we perform during commissioning, such as transformer testing, also provide the baseline data required for the long-term preventive maintenance program.
The following items should all be considered when determining the scope of the electrical commissioning project:
